More benefits to drinking milk than meets the eye
Aug 23rd 2002
New Brunswick
Drinking all that Northumberland milk has sure paid off for three New Brunswick people who recently received a visit from Northumberland Co-operative Dairy.
Marie Roy of Bathurst, Priscilla Soucy of Cambridge-Narrows, and Brian Hicks of Pine Glen entered the Northumberland Dairy 60th Anniversary Contest and each won a Shopping Spree valued at $1,000. There were thousands of entries received during the eight-week grocery store promotion opened to residence of New Brunswick.
The accounting firm of Grant Thornton, Katrina Donovan, CA conducted the draw, selecting the winners.
The three lucky winners all agreed that they knew what they were going to buy and were excited to go shopping.
This time of year with school starting for many and the new fall and winter season set to begin, many consumers are shopping and the stores are getting busy.
This promotion was part of Northumberland Co-operative Dairy's 60-year celebration. Being uniquely New Brunswick, Northumberland is proud to be locally owned and operated and looks forward to serve New Brunswick for many years to come.
