Health Check Update

February is Heart month and Northumberland Co-op Dairy is working with the Heart and Stroke Foundation to promote healthy products and healthy eating through its involvement in the Health Check^TM Program. Products such as Northumberland 1% and Skim Plus Calcium have the Health Check symbol on the package and meet the strict nutrient criteria of being low in fat and an excellent source of calcium. Northumberland joins over 30 other Canadian companies involved in the program.

The Health Check Program and Northumberland Dairy is high profile in January 2005 in stores with shelf talkers displayed among participating stores.

Also starting in January is a new side panel on Northumberland milk products supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.

Watch for new products in 2005 with the Health Check symbol.
