A local executive chef from Bathurst New Brunswick, Chef Christian Sirois prepared and hosted the Northumberland Pure New Brunswick Dinner Party for winner Jocelyne Theriault and her 11 guests, at her sister Solange's home in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
Chef Christian Sirois of Ryan's Steak House Pub, considered to be one of the busiest restaurants in Bathurst, has more than 17 years of industry experience in food and beverage. He was chosen recently among 16 chefs from Canada to attend the show, The Pressure Cooker. Former NBCC - Edmundston graduate, he then continued his apprentice with Chef Richard Chiasson to achieve the inter-provincial Red Seal. Chef Sirois is currently training for the Certified Chef de Cuisine CCC certification which is the highest culinary certification in Canada. The dinner was a celebration of an array of New Brunswick dishes and a gift pack of products made in New Brunswick. Northumberland Dairy partnered with New Brunswick companies like: Ganong Chocolates, Moosehead Breweries, Belliveau Orchard, G.E.
