Minor Hockey

Hockey in New Brunswick has begun another exciting season, kids are busy having fun making new friends and learning new skills that will give them great enjoyment throughout their life. The Moncton and Lewisville Minor Hockey Association Peewee Division were in need of new jerseys. President David Melanson of Lewisville Minor Hockey and Louis Gaudet President of Moncton Minor Hockey are pleased to recognize Northumberland Dairy for its generous contribution to its Peewee sports teams.

Minor Hockey Programs are non-profit community based organization that offers youth an enriching experience of sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. Northumberland Dairy and its youth initiative in supporting recreational sports was recognized recently by the Moncton and Lewisville Minor Hockey Association. During the presentation, the Peewee divisions age 11 and 12 year olds were provided new hockey jerseys. "It was great timing", said Gaudet, "we were in need of new jerseys after wearing out the old set and Northumberland's sponsorship will dress these kids and others for many years to come."

To stay healthy and active Northumberland Dairy is commitment to invest in the youth of our province through participation in sports for fun and leisure. The jersey sponsorship initiative implemented last year has benefited many recreational teams. The program is not limited to any one sport and has helped a variety of sports teams including: baseball, volleyball and hockey.
